| Well, with the emergence of DN, it was obvious that either Kaiba is not a programming wiz or that he's a lazy bum (in his defense i wouldn't spend that much time on a software that's not generating money for me). DN just came out overnight and although it's sort of a copy of KCVDS it actually put in mind the suggestions that many people where throwing in to Kaiba (which he kept ignoring saying it's not priority, he's too busy, etc). Very important to me is that now opponent can play pot of duality or avarice on DN and i'm sure he's not cheating cuz the card is getting bounced to deck right away without having to put it in hand first. | |

| Kaiba is allegedly working by himself on KCVDS, but then so is the developer of DN so that's not an excuse. | |

| Ok guys/girls, thanks for clearing that up for me. Ive seen this new DN and Ive signed up. I must admit it looks pretty cool. This even has the new cards like the new T.G. monsters and a spell I like to use now which is called "Wonder Wand". I dunno what to play now, I mean, I like the simple layout of KCVDS and its quicker in some parts, but DN has more options and it's less likely that people can cheat. KCVDS has a bigger screen if you play in full screen, but DN has sounds and other features like a D.P. when you win so and so many duels.
If KCVDS still wants people to play it (I mean, I will once in a while but I'd rather play DN). Then this means that this Kaiba Man really needs to start updating......
Looks like we're witnessing the start of a duel...... (ok, thats my worst joke ever - officially)

| Ok people, this doesn't look good. DN is down, and here's a quote from Black Luster Soldier (owner of DN): - Black Luster Soldier wrote:
- It appears that someone from Konami has filed a DMCA on Dueling Network. The server provider was required to take down the site until this can be resolved.
Please stay calm during this time. I am working on contacting Konami and am hoping they will be reasonable about resolving this issue. I do not know how long this will take.
- BLS Now, although his message says stay calm, this is very risky business. As legal issues are invovled, this might be the end of DN. However, it's more dangerous than that. If DN is banned, what would stop konami from going ahead and banning all other free dueling systems? Online YGO gamers, this might either be a nothing and just a false alarm, or might be the end of our DN days (or even online gaming days) as we know them.

| Well this will cause problems for people if they take DN down. There will be A LOT of people pretty much pissed at Konami. So I dont think this would be a smart move for them to make. But then again it has its good points for them if they were to. Well all we can do is wait and hope nothing happens. | |

| Thing is I can't go back to a system that doesn't have librarian/ reborn tengu/ and all those new annoying Six Sam cards. Hence, what's the best dueling system out there besides KCVDS? Anyone is welcome with suggestions. I heard of names like J-Project or YVD, but I don't know how good they are.
BIG EDIT: DN is back up and running. Cheers everyone.
